VITAL will create a user-friendly platform that uses patient data from clinics and wearable technology to build virtual models of individual patients. This will help doctors personalise treatments for heart-related issues that also affect other organs like the kidneys and brain. These conditions, which we’ll call “circulation overload disorders” (CODs), include high blood pressure, different types of heart failure, and certain heart defects. The platform will be tested and validated with over 200 patients in clinical studies in France and the UK.
